I have been helping my friend set up a new website. Hours spent checking the HTML, choosing the right
keywords for SEO. Less than two weeks later all that work is lost. The Web Hosting company c**ked up one of his domain transfers and as a result his sites were offline for over a week. He was so exasperated that he cancelled the hosting contract and changed hosts. BUT the domain name was included in the hosting package and he cannot take it across with him. Moral: 1. do not put all your eggs in one basket. 2. Use a reliable hosting company that will register your domain to YOU.
